Two Professors of Zakho University Participated in a Scientific Conference

On Wednesday and Thursday, February 2 and 3, 2022, two professors from the Department of Islamic Studies of Zakho University participated in the 1st Scientific Conference in the College of Education in Akre – Duhok University entitled “Sheikh Tahir Al-Shoshi – Service and Production”.

Dr. Shawkat Z. Mohammed participated in the conference with a research on “The Role of Sheikh Tahir Al-Shoshi in Self-reconciliation - An Analytical Descriptive Study”. Additionally, Dr. Ayad K. Ibrahim joined the conference through a study entitled “The Effects, Thoughts and Legal Sermons of Sheikh Tahir Al-Shoshi in Highlighting the Values and Principles of Islamic Legislation”.

It is worth mentioning that the conference was the first of its kind conducted in the College of Education and it witnessed the presence of a great number of university teachers and researchers.

Noteworthy, the participants presented their topics in a detailed and various analytical forms. Eventually, a further discussion emerged on the topics. In fact, the attendees expressed their profound gratitude to the aforementioned participants due to the immense significance of their arguments.
